True North Institute International has designed its program to meet the needs of students who seek entrance to prestigious Canadian Universities depending on their academic background and their interest of post-secondary education. These programs prepare international students to get faster admissions to universities with their academic language training. Guidance Counselors at True North Institute International is dedicated to help our students in choosing the best course of study for their career.

We are focused on overall development of the child through motivating students and offering individualized attention by keeping small class sizes.
 
Grade 9-10 OSSD Foundation program
Foundation program which includes two years of studies at Grade 9 and Grade 10, has been designed based on Ontario Secondary School curriculum for students to achieve core learning skills. As specified by Ministry of Education, our teachers will use a variety of instructional, assessment, and evaluation strategies, to provide numerous opportunities for students to develop and refine their critical and creative skills, problem-solving skills, and communication skills, while engaged in academic activities, projects, and exploration.

True North Institute International is an Ontario Ministry of Education inspected school and adheres to all provincial standards, including the provision of an Ontario Provincial Report Card and official transcripts to post-secondary institutions.

Students who successfully complete Grade 9 and 10 Foundation program will move into Grade 11 and 12 University Preparation program.
 
Grade 11-12 University Preparation Program
University Preparation program is designed for students in Grade 11 and Grade 12, and is carefully designed to exceed the curriculum and learning expectations of Ontario Ministry of Education.  Courses in University Preparation program provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to meet admission requirements of undergraduate studies at a university.  Teaching and learning will emphasize theoretical aspects of the course content, with supporting applications. The courses will focus on the development of both independent research skills and independent learning skills.

Upon successful completion of the courses in the University Preparation program, students are eligible to receive Ontario Secondary School Diploma and apply for admission to university programs.
 
University Pathway Program
University Pathway programs at Alathena International Academy have been designed to meet the needs of international Students who have completed their secondary school at home countries and seek entrance to prestigious Canadian Universities.

Depending on their academic background and their interest of post-secondary education, students will be able to choose the best pathway option and relevant courses that student has to complete. These programs prepare international students to get faster admissions to universities with their academic language training. Guidance Councilors at Alathena International Academy is dedicated to help our students in choosing the best course of study for their career.
